Visit Tay Phuong and Thay pagodas Hanoi tour 1 Day
A full-day tour to explore the most colorful and revered pagodas and temples in the North of Viet Nam. On this trip, you will visit the Thay pagoda and Tay Phuong pagoda to know more about Buddhism in Vietnam, the fine wood carving arts and the ancient Vietnamese architecture.
The two pagodas are in the former Ha Tay Province, which is one of the oldest lands in Vietnam and which is home to many well preserved traditions and traditional handicrafts.

Hanoi - Visit Tay Phuong and Thay pagodas Hanoi tour 1 day: The enigmatic Tay Phuong & Thay pagodas
8:00 AM: Start from your hotel and delve into the charming countryside west of Hanoi. Arrive at Tay Phuong Pagoda (Western Pagoda) which is located on a hill accessible by 230 laterite steps. This pagoda is well known by all Vietnamese people for its magnificent statues and curly roofs which have transcended down into Vietnamese poetry.
Continue to Thay Pagoda (Master Pagoda) where the famous monk named Tu Dao Hanh spent his life practicing the Buddhist movement named Tantrism (phật giáo Mật Tông) and the homeland of water puppetry.
Return to Hanoi and enjoy a delicious lunch of Bun Cha and Nem cua (grilled pork with noodles and crab spring rolls) at NEM VUONG restaurant, 106 K1 Giang Vo Street.
