Day 1: Hue Arrival & foody tour (D)
Upon arrival in Phu Bai airport (Hue), you will be welcomed by our tour guide and be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Free time at your leisure to unwind your leg, or enjoying a body massage at your comfort before take a walking and street food tour along Hue's streets to see the city's night life: Trang Tien bridge, Ho Chi Minh Memorial House. Try the most typical and unique street food of Hue: Beo cake (water fern cake), Nam cake (steamed shrimp rice cake), Loc cake (steamed clear tapioca cake), Bun bo Hue (Hue beef vermicelli), Banh khoai (Hue fried pancake with shrimps, pork, eggs and bean sprouts). Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee before coming back to the hotel or exploring night market on your own.
Overnight in Hue
Day 2: Local Encounters in Hue Imperial Citadel and its countryside (B/L)
Pick up for the cruise on the Perfume River. Visit the ancient and sacred Thien Mu Pagoda. Walk around Thuy Bieu village and stop by Long Chau temple, locally known as "Voi Re" or "Palace of the Crying Elephants". 200 meters from the temple lies Ho Quyen, an arena elephants and tigers dueled to the death in the old days. Continue to Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc - one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of Nguyen Dynasty. On the way, stop at a conical hat and incense stick village. In the afternoon, visit Tu Hieu Pagoda - one of the largest ancient temples with cultural landscapes and history of the ancient capital of Hue. Continue to Hue Imperial Citadel - the palace of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), the last dynasty of Vietnam. Back to the hotel.
Day 3: Visit rural village of Hue before departure (B)
Cycle out of busy city streets to the peaceful countryside roads. Stop at Thanh Toan Tile-Roofed Bridge in Thuy Thanh Village, visit Agricultural Museum and enjoy a chance to practice farming activities. Free at leisure until we transfer you to airport for your onward flight out of Hue. Tours end!
